Elemis Skin Nourishing Shower Cream

When I got married last year my bridesmaids took me to a fabulous hotel in Edinburgh for my Hen Weekend. It was without doubt one of the best weekends of my life not only because of the great company and gorgeous surroundings but because of the extent of thought and effort my best girls put into making it a weekend to remember. They even went as far as to shortlist the hotels based on the products they used in the spa! True story. It says a lot about how well they know me that the hotel they settled on stocked Elemis!

I fell in love with the brand the first time i had a facial at Aqua Sana at Centre Parks a few years ago and there are now multiple Elemis products that I cannot be without. The Skin Nourishing Shower gel from the SP@Home Body Soothing range is one of them.

This is the most nourishing shower gel I’ve come across, it contains lots of lovely moisturising natural oils such as Camellia, Jojoba and Macadamia as well as Milk Protein which balances and enriches the skin. It doesn't contain sodium laurel sulphate, parabens or other nasties which means it is very gentle on the skin and is even suitable for use on babies and children or on dry, sensitive and problem skins. I use it with a shower puff and, despite the lack of SLS, it gives the creamiest lather and leaves you skin feeling really clean and super soft. I love how Elemis combine luxury with functionality.

As with most Elemis products, not only does this work well but it smells incredible! It has such a calming relaxing smell (perfect for restless babies!) that is very noticeable without being overpowering. It smells the same as the Skin Nourishing Bath Milk which can also be used as a body lotion so the two of them combined leaves you smelling and feeling utterly pampered and relaxed. Perfect after a long day at work. It is a unisex fragrance so is suitable for the men in your life as well and has nice neutral packaging.

You can get a 300ml bottle for £20.50 from lookfantastic.com but i tend to buy most of my elemis products from QVC as they put together great collections and offer discounts if you get a today's special value or  buy things as duo's. They also sometime have an easy pay offer where you can spread the cost, interest free, over a couple of months which makes the collections much more affordable for me. At the moment you can get a Duo (two full size 300ml bottles) for £30 plus p&p!
