Alpha H Absolute Eye Complex Review

Alpha H Absolute Eye Complex
The last time i mentioned a skincare product  for the eyes in my Skincare Routine post it was the Clinique All About Eyes Roll On Serum which i really love because it is so cooling, light and refreshing on the delicate skin around my eyes, and the roller ball works wonders for draining and de-puffing the area. I was so in love
with this product that i was reluctant to try any thing else. You see i've tried my fair share of eye creams over the years and i just don't get on with most of them: i hate anything too heavy or greasy under make up and i find a lot of eye creams to be very rich in texture, even some of the gel formulas can leave a bit of a greasy residue. So if it aint broke don't fix it right? Well actually wrong, because if i had stuck to that way of thinking i would never have discovered this little gem.

You will probably all have heard of the cult product from Alpha H - Liquid Gold? Well this Eye Complex is worthy of the same status.  Described as a lifting and perfecting serum that is uniquely designed to be applied to lash level and over the entire eye lid to hydrate and firm the skin, reverse damage and reduce dark circles, puffiness, hooded lids and fine lines - bold claims i know, but this is one of those products that really does what it says on the tin label.

I've been using it for a good few weeks now and i've noticed a huge improvement in the puffiness around my eyes and even the fine lines seem a little less obvious. The dark shadows under my eyes have reduced, not disappeared, but they are much easier to cover and i'm hopeful that continued use will only improve this area of concern further. The only thing i've not yet noticed much of a change in yet is the annoying milia (those tiny white bumps under the skin) i have under my eyes, but i will persevere and hopefully they will gradually fade away.

Definitely more of an eye gel than a cream, this has a lovely cooling effect which is so refreshing on tired eyes (even better if you store it in the fridge!). It is odourless and colour-free and contains natural flower acids to gentley re-surface and brighten the eye area, as well as hyaluronic acid and peptides which provide an immediate, noticeable firming effect. It is absorbed into the skin almost instantly and make-up applies over it no problem.

The packaging is very 'back to basics' but i quite like it, to me it looks like it means business and it doesn't need fancy packaging to prove it! It comes with a pump dispenser and one pump does both eyes so it will last quite a while. A 15 ml bottle usually retails at £34.50 but i've found a total bargain of a deal from QVC! They are currently offering this product PLUS a full size of the aforementioned Liquid Gold (which i will be reviewing very soon) for a mere £28.50 + p&p here!!

  1. I need a new eye cream and have been looking for a while and tested a few by Clarins, but they have rather hefty price tags! I might just have to get the deal from QVC!
