Benefit World Famous Neutrals Kit - Most Glamorous Nudes Ever Review

I hope you don't mind the image heavy post but i really wanted to show you this palette that i was lucky enough to win at the Benefit Fakeup event (you can read about this here) The Most Glamourous Nudes Ever* is one of three palettes that make up the Benefit World Famous Neutrals Kit range and after looking at all three at the event i would say this one is my favourite so i was really happy to be able to bring it home.

The palette is made up of four long-wear powder shadows that will all be released as single shades, and two creaseless creams. The two cream shadow shades are absolutely stunning, birthday suit is my favourite as its such a gorgeous shimmering champagne colour perfect for day or evening. Of the four powder shadows on first impressions kiss me, i'm tipsy stood out, the rich brown shot through with gold glitter looked beautiful but out of all the shades this was the only slightly disappointing  one as the gold shimmer doesn't really translate onto the skin as you can see on the swatches below. Its still a really lovely usable colour though and the formulation of both the cream and powder shadows is really nice, the cream shadows are similar to Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadows.

I love how versatile this palette is, you can create lots of different looks with it and it would be ideal if you are going away for a weekend and want to keep your make up bag to a minimum as you have everything you need in terms of eye colour included. call my buff  is perfect for brow bone and tear duct highlighting, kiss me, i'm tipsy for lining around the eye and defining the crease, and it's complicated to add some glamour to an otherwise neutral eye by applying to the centre of the lid. If you need some ideas for how to use the colours in the palette the clever people at Benefit have included two mini tutorials in the packaging for a more natural daytime look and then a bolder evening look. The image below show just one of the many ways i like to use it.

call my buff on the brow, guilt-y pleasure on the lid & kiss me, i'm tipsy in the socket
Retailing at £23.50 i think this is fantastic value for money, with each shade costing less than £4. Overall, another winner from Benefit! Have any of you seen these? What do you think? I'd love to know if anyone has reviewed any of the other palettes in this range, please leave your links below if you have. Thanks for reading! xx

  3. Such a gorgeous set, got to love benefits attention to fabulous packaging. Your eye make up looks amaze. Very skilled, even with instructions not sure i could create such an effect.

I bought the pink set (most easiest nudes) via qvc, the peach and lilac set were already sold out when I tuned in so given the choice I'm not sure what I would of gone for.

I'll be reviewing the pink on my blog
prettylittleus over the next few days.

    Really enjoyed your post, thanks
