Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask Review

And the award for the best named skin care product goes too…!

Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask really does what it says on the tin. I literally couldn't come up with a better name for it if my life depended on it because that is exactly what your skin does. You apply this mask to cleansed skin before bed and leave it on overnight, which at first i thought might be a bit uncomfortable - i'm not a fan of leaving heavy products on my skin overnight (i have to force myself to put foot cream on!) However within minutes of applying this it has disappeared into my skin and by morning there is no trace of it.

The texture is somewhere between a gel and a cream and it applies to the skin clear so this would be an ideal in-flight companion for those of us who like to pass the time on a plane by pampering ourselves! It also has a really lovely refreshing fruity smell thanks to the Apricot butters and peach kernel oil. As with all Origins products it is full of lovely natural ingredients including rose water and avocado oil, and no nasty synthetic fillers.
Designed for dehydrated skin, this moisture replacement mask replaces hydration and builds reserves to protect the skin from dehydration and premature aging and wow, does this stuff work!

The difference in my skin with just one use was amazing: i woke up with much smoother, firmer skin that had a real glow to it and was really soft and hydrated. The instant results would make this mask perfect for use the night before a special occasion if you want your skin to look its best. I wish i had tried this before i got married! My only little niggle is that by the end of the day my skin tends to return back to its dehydrated state but with regular use i have found the results to last longer. I've been using this every other night alternating it with my Alpha H liquid Gold and another positive is it is lasting really well as you don't need to use loads to cover your face.

It retails at £20 for 100ml which i think is great value for such an effective product from a renowned skincare brand and i will definitely be picking another one up when this one runs out.
Have you tried this or any other mask from Origins? What did you think?
