YSL Rouge Volupte Sheer Candy No 4 Succulent Pomegranate

Lots of people have spoken about the YSL Rouge Volupte but i haven't seen any reviews of a Volupte Sheer Candy, the lighter, glossier cousin of the Rouge Volupte so i thought i would share my thoughts. Unsurprisingly they are all positive, i just love all lip products from YSL; their formulas are unbeatable and
the packaging is so pretty that i have them displayed proudly on my dressing table instead of storing them in the drawers along with the rest of my make up! They have the same design as the Rouge Volupte and have the same colour band showing the shade of the lipstick inside but instead of being gold they are silver . I love how they still use the gold for the YSL logo because it gives it a really expensive, luxurious look which is what i want from an expensive high end lipstick!

The formulation is so light and silky, described as the lipstick that thinks its a lip balm the sheer candy is made with fruit extract that is rich in vitamins and antioxidants, so it not only looks beautiful but is very nourishing on the lips. It reminds me a lot of one of my all time favourites; the Lipchic's from Chantacaille.

The shade i have - No 4 - is a bright cerise pink in the bullet. Unfortunately the lighting wasn't great when i took the top picture and no amount of editing would show the true brightness but i posted a picture of it a while ago on my instagram which shows the colour so if you follow me on there you can see that, my user name is onthedressingtable.

You can see from the pictures of me wearing it that although it is a bright pink, its really wearable because of the sheer glossy finish. I absolutely love this colour and think its a perfect shade for spring.  All of the shades are really well pigmented and have names that are good enough to eat - they even smell fruity! I have my eye on No 2 Dewy Papaya or No 6 Luscious Cherry next. They are available from any YSL make up counter and retail at £23.50.
Do any of you have a Sheer Candy? Which shades do you like?
