What's in My Handbag - Spring Spruce Up Set

Spring Spruce Up Set

Elemental Herbology Cell Plumping Facial Hydrator
Roques Oneil Therapie Himalayan Detox Salts
The lovely people at What's in My Handbag recently sent me their Spring Spruce Up Set* to try out, which i will talk about in a moment, but first i just wanted to let you know a little about What's in My Handbag for those of you who haven't come across it yet. It's an online magazine and beauty club that anyone can join for free. Once you are a member you can discover and try out new products through free samples and discovery collections based on your beauty profile.

So how do you create a beauty profile? Well first off, get a cup of tea and make yourself comfortable - If, like me, you enjoy those make up collection/what's-in-my-bag kind of posts and videos you will love this! You can add products to your profile by browsing through the magazine and having a nose at what's in the handbags of various people including a few names you may well recognise if you read blogs/watch YouTube such as Lily Pebbles from What i Heart Today, Anna from Vivianna Does Make Up and the skincare expert Caroline Hirons. You can see what's in my cabinet here!

When you spot something in a handbag that you 'want' just add it to your cabinet and have fun creating your beauty profile. Once you have products in your virtual cabinet you will be recommended products and samples that you might like.
This is where it gets exciting! You can then shop for them in convenient (and affordable) taster sets which are not only great value for money (the current 'Pretty From the Inside' set is worth £63.50 but you can pick it up for £14.95!) but also give you the chance to try out brands and products that you might not have heard about or tried before. Its such a great way of discovering the products that other people love and being able to try them out before you invest in a full size. There are taster sets and samples available from some amazing brands such as Korres, Ole Henrickson, Alpha H and Daniel Sandler. I absolutely love this website, it satisfies all of my beauty needs - a sneak peak into what other people use, finding out about new brands and products and shopping all in one place!

In the Spring Spruce Up set (which you can buy here for £14.95) I received: my all time No.1 top coat - Seche Vite, which i reviewed here and a sample of the James Reed Gradual Facial Tanner which is a product i've never tried before so im looking forward to testing it out. I also got a sample of the Cell Plumping Facial Hydrator from Elemental Herbology which i've used a few times since i got it and i absolutely love it - i'm excited to try more products from this brand as they are getting a lot of positive reviews at the moment. Lastly i got a sachet of Roques Oneil Therapie Himalayan Detox Salts which i haven't used yet but i can't wait to because they smell incredible! Please let me know if you'd like a full review of any of those and if you set up a profile on What's in My Handbag leave your link below so i can have a little nosey!
