As a beauty blogger i have a confession to make that might surprise some of you - i have never tried mineral make up before! I think this might be because a few years ago i was at a wedding fair and the girl gave me a makeover at one of the stalls for a well known mineral makeup brand and i hated it! I find that applying

The last time i mentioned a skincare product for the eyes in my Skincare Routine post it was the Clinique All About Eyes Roll On Serum which i really love because it is so cooling, light and refreshing on the delicate skin around my eyes, and the roller ball works wonders for draining and de-puffing the area. I was so in love

I hope you don't mind the image heavy post but i really wanted to show you this palette that i was lucky enough to win at the Benefit Fakeup event (you can read about this here) The Most Glamourous Nudes Ever* is one of three palettes that make up the Benefit World Famous Neutrals Kit range and after looking at all three at the event i would say this one is my favourite so i was really happy to be able to bring it home.

And the award for the best named skin care product goes too…!
Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask really does what it says on the tin. I literally couldn't come up with a better name for it if my life depended on it because that is exactly what your skin does. You apply this mask to cleansed skin before bed and leave it on overnight, which at first i thought might be a bit uncomfortable - i'm not a fan of leaving heavy products on my skin overnight (i have to force myself to put foot cream on!) However within minutes of applying this it has disappeared into my skin and by morning there is no trace of it.
The texture is somewhere between a gel and a cream and it applies to the skin clear so this would be an ideal in-flight companion for those of us who like to pass the time on a plane by pampering ourselves! It also has a really lovely refreshing fruity smell thanks to the Apricot butters and peach kernel oil. As with all Origins products it is full of lovely natural ingredients including rose water and avocado oil, and no nasty synthetic fillers.
Designed for dehydrated skin, this moisture replacement mask replaces hydration and builds reserves to protect the skin from dehydration and premature aging and wow, does this stuff work!

A blogger's worst nightmare happened this weekend. My laptop broke, sob. Thankfully its insured but its been sent away to repair and i wont have it back for 10 days. However, my lovely husband has taken a little break from his dissertation for me to quickly knock together a post for you all on his laptop! Its beyond frustrating as i've got so many things i want to tell you about and half-written posts i want to finish, but normal service will resume soon hopefully - please bear with me!
Anyway, i spent the morning catching up on YouTube videos (thank god for iPhone!) and along with something i fell in love with in Boots the other day as well as a fragrance i have lusted after for months, i've put together a mini wishlist of the 8 products i am coveting at the moment after seeing some of my favourite You Tubers talking about them.

I’m sure most of you reading this will have tried a hair oil of some description, or at least heard the hype. Since Moroccan oil became popular it seems every brand and their dog has released hair oils claiming to do all kinds of miraculous things. Now I have tried my fair share of these with differing results so this post will be the first in a series of reviews of the oils I have tried. I thought I would begin by telling you about a really special product that I absolutely love using – Shu Uemura Art of Hair Essence Absolue.
