Marc Jacob Daisy Eau so fresh review pic

As with my make up i like to change up my fragrances at different times of the year and the one that has barely been put down since the first coy little appearance of the sun this year is Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh, thanks to my lovely sister in law who gave it to me for my birthday.

Although from the name you would think it’s a floral fragrance, it’s actually much more fruity with notes of Raspberry, Pear, Apple blossom, Lychee and Plum along with Jasmine, Musk and Ceder which give it a bit of depth, Red Grapefruit to add a bit of sharpness and Green Leaves and Violet  keeping it fresh and perfect for spring. The most noticeable scents for me are Pear, Lychee, Grapefruit and Violet with a little bit of Musk. It’s much lighter than a lot of the fragrances i usually gravitate towards but at this time of year it’s nice to wear something a bit lighter and fresher.

Although it’s predominantly fruity i would still describe this as quite a sophisticated scent, it’s not sweet and girly or overpowering in anyway.  It’s one of those fragrances that you will notice every once in a while when you are wearing it and be reminded of how unique and lovely it is! I’m not a massive fan of the bottle but as the saying goes, don’t judge a book but it’s cover, or in this case, it’s name! If you have avoided this thinking it would be an overpowering floral scent, have a sniff next time you’re passing a fragrance counter and you might be surprised.

Have you tried any of the Marc Jacobs fragrances? Which one is your favourite?
