March Favourites!

I'm so excited that its the end of March because that only means one thing to me - the clocks go forward and we get an extra hour of daylight in the evenings which means it will be still light when Jim gets in for work so we can take the dogs for a walk and as soon as its warm enough go and sit in our local beer garden!
My first favourite from March without a doubt has to be the Nars Narssicist Eyeshadow Palette. I was so excited that i got my hands on this because - as with a lot of Nars limited edition products - it sold like hot cakes and was a sell out within hours every time it came back into stock. I love this palette because i am a massive Nars fan and it looks gorgeous but its in this monthly favourites because i have actually used it almost everyday since i got it. The colours are so wearable and versatile. I have worn this for day to day make up - Lahsa and Ashes to Ashes have been my go-to's - and then amped it up for more dramatic smoky evening looks. It has a great selection of warm and cool toned colours and i really think its a shame that this was limited edition because i think its a fab palette that i would recommend to anyone.
You might have read my recent post about the Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream so i won't say too much more but i included this in my favourites for this month because i've been using it almost every night and i love everything about it, even down to the classic white and red packaging which looks ever so fancy on my bedside table!
The fragrance I have been wearing pretty much consistently throughout March is Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh which i have also reviewed here. Its a fresh, fruity fragrance without being too sweet or overpowering and it just seems to suit this time of year really well.
I picked up the John Freda Luxurious Volume Blow Out Spray at the beginning of the month on a bit of a whim. I hasn't heard anything about it but i do tend to prefer a volumising spray rather than mouse so i thought i'd give it a whirl and i'm so glad i did, this stuff is impressive! It literally seemed to double the volume of my hair and it held the volume all day but it didn't leave any kind of residue or stickiness in my hair at all. Definitely worth trying if you like a bit of oompf in your hair.
Hands up who was excited about the arrival of Tarte Cosmetics to the UK?! I definitely was and have to admit to going a little bit mad with qvc orders on the launch day (don't tell Jim!). I have rediscovered my Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Blissful this month, i think because its a really fresh colour that really perks up my complexion its perfect for spring and it works with so many different eye looks. I can't wait to try out some more from this brand because if this blush is anything to go by they are well worth the hype. You can see Blissful in action on my face here.
In terms of skincare the product that has blown me away this month is the Indeed Labs Hydraluron Sheet Masks. You might have heard me talk about how much i love the Hydraluron serum, its one of the things in my skincare routine that never changes because i get quite dehydrated skin and it makes whichever moisturiser im using a million times more effective so i was really keen to give the sheet masks a try and i wasn't disappointed. I've heard a few people say they don't like the sheet application method because there is a lot of wastage but i just squeezed all the serum out of the sachet and rubbed in into my chest so it didn't feel like it was wasted. The results of using these masks was my skin feeling the softest and most hydrated i think it's ever felt and they have really injected some life into my skin after it looking pretty dull through the winter months. To put it simply - i LOVE these masks!
On my nails i have been mainly wearing neutral pinks and Maybelline Super Stay 7 Day Gel Stay Nail Colour in 76 French Manicure is the perfect fuss free nail colour, it just gives slightly more colour than a clear gloss and the gel formula looks really glossy and lasts really well.

I'd love to know what your favourite products of the month were so leave me a comment below or a link to your favourites post if you have written one. I hope you've enjoyed this and found something in amongst my favourites that you might like to try - i'm always happy to be an enabler!
